FISHING

The municipality of Ejea de los Caballeros is highly appreciated because we have several lagoons and reservoirs, and in some of them fishing is allowed.

The El Sabinar tobacconist is located next to the CHE-1501 road, 2.2 km south of El Sabinar, the northernmost town of the Ejea colonization villages. The El Sabinar pond is the only one considered free water for fishing.

El Bolaso is 8.5 kilometers from Ejea, next to the Sádaba road. Intensive fishing is allowed.

Intensive fishing is allowed at the El Gancho, also called La Llana, because it is located next to this neighborhood to the south of the urban area of Ejea and is the scene of sporting events. The same occurs with the San Bartolomé Reservoir, halfway between Rivas and Farasdués.

Other reservoirs in the region where fishing is allowed is in the Yesa reservoir, in the Castiliscar pond, in the Las Anas reservoir near Uncastillo and in the Valdelafuén reservoir in Sádaba.

Fishing is prohibited in the Malvecino and Moncayuelo reservoirs, both around Pinsoro and in the Laverné reservoir, southeast of Ejea.

OTHER AQUATIC ACTIVITIES

The only reservoir where bathing is allowed in Ejea is in San Bartolomé, you can check the regulations here.

Not far from Ejea de los Caballeros we have three large reservoirs in which bathing is not prohibited (allowed or not regulated) and navigation is allowed.

They are the La Loteta reservoir, near Gallur, the Yesa reservoir, northern border of the Cinco Villas and the Ardisa reservoir, on the eastern border of the region. In the latter, only rowing and with restrictions are allowed, while sailing and motor sailing are prohibited.

For more information on fishing, bathing and sailing in the Cinco Villas, click on this link (here the pdf “Masas de agua…” that I have attached to the email would open).
